O-I : EXPRESSIONS was awarded the 2019 Ameristar Design Excellence Award. This award recognizes the package that best integrates structure and graphic design. Judges consider how improved functionality can persuade consumers to think about the product in a new way, as well as design benefits such as presentation and findability on a shelf.
All packages will be on display at Pack Expo in Las Vegas September 23-25, 2019. The “People’s Choice” award will be available and we could possibly win an additional award! To really emphasize this year’s AmeriStar’s winners, winners will be showcased in two locations: one in the Institute of Packaging Professionals booth which will be C-1159 and the other among the “DuPont Packaging Excellence”.
