O-I : EXPRESSIONS was featured strongly at Brand Revolution LAB, the innovative printing creative show organized by Stratego Group under the patronage of DMA Italia. The appeal of O-I’s innovation was clear when three of the design agencies involved in the show chose to use O-I : EXPRESSIONS to create glass packaging of great impact for their customers.
The products chosen by each agency well illustrated the breadth of markets and uses for the company’s innovative branding and differentiation service.
H2H designed a new packaging for Mercedes-Benz Oil, one of the brand’s symbols of technological and performance innovation, that look after efficiency. The premium engine oil of Mercedes is presented in a standard premium bottle manufactured by O-I, customized through O-I : EXPRESSIONS. Logo, brand and product name are in relief, joined by the iconic black handprint of a mechanic, giving the container a premium touch and feel.
Betto is a Sicilian pastry shop and deli located in Milan which wants to boost sales through take-away, offering a premium and collectable packaging to their customers. The 6th therefore designed 26 different illustrations each featuring a letter of the alphabet and details that recall to Sicilian tradition – creating refined packaging with which Betto’s clients can compose names, words and even entire phrases. Glass containers are decorated thanks to O-I : EXPRESSIONS, giving them an elegant colourful embossing.
Cantina Gulfi stands for great wine, but also a story of traditions, excellence and territory in three different wines. For this reason, the creative concept of the packaging needed to be strictly bond to the land and to the process. Coo’ee Italia created a simple and clean design based on the areas of cultivation of the different vineyards, printed on the bottles using O-I : EXPRESSIONS with personalized relief details, once more highlighting the capabilities of O-I’s new service for extreme customization and limited edition packaging.
